FFPO-Conference: The foot in all its forms

Two years after the huge success of the congress in Lille, the ffpo is hosting a new edition of the Journées de l’Appareillage du Pied (Foot Orthotics Conference) on March 26 and 27, 2026 in Beaune, France.

Under the direction of Prof. Vincent Tiffreau (CHU Lille), chairman of the scientific committee, a rich program has been put together around the theme: “The foot in all its forms.” The 2026 edition will focus in particular on exchanges between craftsmen and industry, as well as innovations. There will be more time for the exhibition to discover the latest technological advances and practical solutions. An after-work event offers a special opportunity to continue the discussions in a convivial atmosphere. In addition, there will be job dating slots for students to strengthen the link between education and professional practice.

On Thursday, March 26, the event will begin with a reception and a visit to the exhibitor stands. In the morning, there will be several workshops on foot orthoses, wound care, and international treatment comparisons, accompanied by symposia on customized orthopedic innovations. After lunch, there will be presentations by the FFPO on training and association work. The afternoon will focus on technical and digital innovations in foot orthosis manufacturing, followed by a discussion panel. In the evening, there will be a scientific symposium with presentations on topics such as botulinum toxin, ankle prostheses, diabetic wounds, dyslexia treatment, and percutaneous foot surgery.

On Friday, March 27, participants will once again start with a reception. This will be followed by specialist presentations on various orthopedic topics: from foal shoes and children's shoes to posture analyses, patient experiences, sustainability in orthopedics, and studies on flat foot treatment in children.
