OTWorld 2016: Call for Papers

The programme committee of the OTWorld 2016 world congress invites you to submit abstracts for free papers. Research/practical presentations or descriptions of case studies will be accepted on the following topics: Prosthetics, Orthotics, Foot and shoe/ orthopaedic shoe technology, Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation technology, Sports/sports medicine, Open topics (developing countries, material research, measuring technology, adapted technologies or XXL). Abstracts can be submitted as a lecture or poster presentation. Submission deadline: 6 September 2015.

Submission

Abstracts can be submitted only using the online form www.ot-world.com/abstractsubmission. Abstracts sent by fax or email will not be considered. The abstracts for research/practical presentations must include a title, summary, introduction, methods, results and conclusion. Case studies must be submitted with a summary, introduction/basis, methods, implementation and conclusion. The length of the individual abstract texts is limited. To ensure anonymity of thepeer review procedure, the abstract may not contain any information on the authors, hospitals or institutions. The submission of an abstract will be confirmed by email to the designated author. The Bundesinnungsverband für Orthopädie-Technik (German Association of Orthopaedic Technology), as the notional partner of OTWorld, awards two prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the best paper and the best paper submitted by a young professional among the free paper submissions. The prizes are endowed with €500.00 each. On the basis of the evaluations made in the peer review process an evaluation committee will decide upon the nominees. All abstracts submitted automatically take part in the competition.
